Pricing & plans: what you pay for and who counts as a user

Nestr's pricing is designed to be accessible to organisations of all sizes, from small teams experimenting with self-organisation to large enterprises.

What counts as a paid user?

Anyone with login access to your workspace counts as a user. This includes:

• Active members who fill roles and participate in meetings
• Users who have accepted their invitation

Users who have been invited but haven't yet accepted ("silent" users) or who have been suspended do not count toward your user total.

Adding or removing someone

Your user count follows your workspace membership, so there is nothing to arrange with us and no seat to buy in advance. Invite someone in Workspace settings → Users and your subscription picks them up; remove someone and they stop counting. Any workspace admin can do both. Suspended users and users who have been invited but have not accepted are not counted, so an invitation that is still outstanding costs nothing.

The change reaches your subscription on its own, though not always the same day. We recount daily and space the changes we send to Stripe about a week apart, which keeps your invoice from filling up with a line per adjustment. So a new member can show up in your workspace a few days before they show up on the bill.

View-only access

If you want stakeholders to see your organisational structure without participating, you have two options:

• For people who do not need a Nestr account, the Published Workspace feature makes your circle and role structure publicly viewable at no additional cost. Enable it in Workspace settings → Applications.
• For members who only need to read, set up a read-only profile through rights management on the Pro plan and assign it to them. The Pro plan also unlocks per-role and per-circle permission scoping.

The free trial

Every new workspace starts with a free trial period. During the trial, you have access to all features. When the trial ends, you can choose a plan that fits your needs or contact us to discuss options.

Nonprofit and social impact pricing

Nestr offers special pricing for nonprofits, NGOs, cooperatives, and social impact organisations. Contact us to learn about discounted plans tailored to purpose-driven organisations. Nestr operates with a pay-what-you-can approach for qualifying organisations. We believe everyone should have access to tools for effective self-organisation, regardless of budget. Multiple workspaces

Pricing is per workspace, not per user across all workspaces. If you have multiple workspaces, each has its own plan and user count. A person who is a member of multiple workspaces counts as one user in each workspace.

Managing your subscription

1. Go to Workspace settings → Plan & Billing.
2. Here you can view your current plan, update payment details, and manage your subscription.
