Every circle in Nestr has its own communication space, keeping conversations focused on the people and work that matter. No more sifting through company-wide noise to find what's relevant to your team.
How does team chat work in Nestr?
Each circle gets its own feed where members can post updates, ask questions, and discuss work in context. Conversations from projects and roles within the circle are automatically surfaced, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Create topic channels within your circle to organise discussions further — separate channels for announcements, decisions, social chat, or anything your team needs.
Why circle-scoped communication?
Traditional chat tools create a flat list of channels that quickly becomes overwhelming. Nestr's approach mirrors how self-organising teams actually work: information flows within and between circles, following your organisational structure rather than fighting against it.
This means the right people see the right conversations by default, without complex permissions or channel management. When you join a circle, you automatically have access to its communication space.
Private and direct messaging
For conversations that don't belong in a circle feed, Nestr also offers direct messaging for private one-on-one discussions. Access your messages from anywhere in Nestr via the messaging tab.
